Sendo assim, as informações sobre estas organizações e suas ações são oriundas de bases de dados e sistemas informatizados. O poder sobre estas bases dá acesso ao poder sobre a organização como um todo.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Foi com base neste poder de manipulação que&amp;nbsp;Bernard Madoff, fraudou relatórios de desempenho financeiro, gerando um calote que aproxima-se de 50 bilhões de dólares, o maior da história financeira mundial. Madof foi preso pelo FBI, em 2008, acusado de fraude e atualmente cumpre pena de 150 anos.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Nesta semana, dois &lt;a href="http://www.businessweek.com/news/2010-03-17/u-s-indicts-two-former-madoff-programmers-in-manhattan-court.html"&gt;ex-programadores de Madoff também foram acusados&lt;/a&gt; de desenvolver e manter os sistemas computacionais fraudulentos, sendo formalmente indiciados por formação de quadrilha e fraude eletrônica. Eles podem pegar até 30 anos de prisão.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Não podemos esquecer que o Brasil também foi palco de um dos maiores escândalos de fraude, quando o pais tomou conhecimento da manipulação das votações no painel eletrônico do Senado Federal. Mas a alta complexidade e o futuro cada vez mais imprevisível do ambiente de negócios tem tornado esta tarefa extremamente difícil de ser realizada. Uma vez que os negócios estão se movendo de estratégias tradicionais de “empurrar” para estratégias mais flexíveis e rápidas de “puxar”, a infra-estrutura de TI também precisa estar pronta para atender estas demandas. As práticas tradicionais de gestão de TI estão baseadas em servidores, bancos de dados, sistemas de armazenamento e redes que não são tão flexíveis e expansíveis como as atuais demandas de negócios. Para enfrentar a turbulência, as organizações devem ajustar rumos, cortar custos e rever investimentos. Isto também se reflete no cenário de TI, onde os CIO´s (executivos da área de informação) devem se alinhar as mudanças e planos dos executivos da corporação (CEO´s).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Uma recente pesquisa do Gartner Group [1], identificou &lt;span mce_name="strong" mce_style="font-weight: bold;" class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold; "&gt;sete &lt;/span&gt;grandes questões que deverão ser prioridades nas agendas dos CEO´s e seguidas de perto pelos CIO´s.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span mce_name="strong" mce_style="font-weight: bold;" class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold; "&gt;Primeira - Reestruturação&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;A crise global gerou a necessidade de reestruturação interna e externa das organizações. Também tem gerado uma onda de fusões e aquisições, onde as organizações buscam a sinergia para enfrentar a crise. Isto significa que os planos e projetos de TI também devem ser revisados, enfocando principalmente a possibilidade de integração entre organizações que venham a se fundir.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span mce_name="strong" mce_style="font-weight: bold;" class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold; "&gt;Segunda - Reação Rápida&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Em momentos de perigo, um organismo vivo redireciona todos os seus recursos e energia para os órgãos vitais, deixando um estado de alerta para uma resposta rápida. Da mesma forma os CEO´s devem focar os esforços para as operações centrais da empresa e para agirem com rapidez na crise. Sistemas de informações que estão diretamente ligados as atividades principais da empresa, sua força produtiva, humana e financeira, deverão receber atenção redobrada para a disponibilidade eficiênte de informações.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span mce_name="strong" mce_style="font-weight: bold;" class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold; "&gt;Terceira - Perda de confiança&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;A crise do setor imobiliário,  bancos, seguida pelas montadoras e se espalhando pelos demais setores gerou um clima de desconfiança. Acionistas e atores com interesse nos negócios exigem mais transparência e detalhamento de infomrações sobre a saúde financeira das organizações. A ordem é mobilidade e convergência. Enquanto as vendas de PC´s, desktops cairam e mantém previsão de queda, as de telefones móveis, netbooks e outros dispositivos compactos tiveram acentuado aumento.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;A convergência e mobilidade não são assuntos novos e desde o newton da Apple, o mercado vem testando tecnologias da informação portáteis. Mas foi o avanço do processamento, armazenamento e, principalmente, das redes de comunicação que estão permitindo a realização desta tão esperada tecnologia.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Ainda é cedo para prever com precisão o impacto disto para as organizações mas algumas apostas já podem ser feitas.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Para os CIO´s, mais tecnologia móvel significa mais acessos externos aos sistemas e consequentemente maiores investimentos em acesso, segurança e proteção dos dados. Por outro lado, a mobilidade desloca o executivo para fora da organização, otimizando o seu tempo em negociações e ações de relacionamento com o ambiente externo. Somente em janeiro, mais de 9 milhões de computadores já haviam sido infectados. Mas a &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;situação piorou&lt;/span&gt; e nos últimos cinco dias, a Symantec (uma empresa de segurança) informou que ocorreram mais de dois milhões de contaminações diárias.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tudo isto levou a Microsoft a unir-se a grandes empresas de tecnologia e internet e organizações acadêmicas para formar um&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt; grupo de resposta ao problema.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Análise: o problema da segurança&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Os vírus sempre representaram uma ameaça potencial a perda de dados e paralização de  sistemas. Hoje, o principal alvo de ataque é o tráfego e a disponibilidade de serviços pela rede. Atualmente as empresas operam totalmente &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;dependente de conexões de redes &lt;/span&gt;internas e externas, principalmente com as aplicações de software como serviços (SAS). Nestes casos, servidores, aplicativos e dados ficam fisicamente em locais distantes e precisam das conexões de rede para serem acessados.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Gilberto Luy, CIO de uma universidade, destaca que a &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Telefonia e Video sobre IP&lt;/span&gt; são tendências bastante comuns nas organizações atuais e também são afetados por problemas na rede.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Concluindo, de forma indireta, o vírus causa uma &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;paralisia em toda a organização&lt;/span&gt; ao atacar seu principal sistema nervoso: a rede. Claramente a Google deseja ser o elemento de ligação e relacionamento do usuário com o mundo virtual. Isto está bem claro neste trecho do blog:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;...como seria um navegador se pudéssemos começar do zero e se aproveitássemos os melhores componentes e recursos dos navegadores que temos hoje. Considerando que a web evoluiu muito (das páginas bem simples, praticamente de texto, chegando às aplicações interativas que temos hoje) temos que repensar por completo o papel dos navegadores. De modo que, o que realmente precisávamos, não era um navegador, e sim uma &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;plataforma para rodar aplicações e páginas web. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;Foi justamente isso que nos propusemos a construir.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Além do Blog, existe também uma história em quadrinhos que explica detalhes do projeto da plataforma, da qual o Chrome é apenas uma parte. Apenas mais um concorrente do IE? Já nasceram na era Windows XP/Vista. A popularidade do sistema operacional da Microsoft cresceu exponencialmente em menos de uma década. Hoje é quase uma unanimidade, estando presente em 9 de cada 10 computadores. Fugir deste padrão é algo difícil, tanto para desenvolvedores quanto para usuários.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;p style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51);"&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; color: rgb(51, 51, 51);"&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:Verdana;font-size:100%;"  &gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; color: rgb(51, 51, 51);"&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:Verdana;font-size:100%;"  &gt;Situação semelhante também está acontecendo com os sistemas de gestão empresarial (ERP, do inglês, Enterprise Resource Planning). &lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt;O &lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt;ERP&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt; pode ser considerado o “&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: bold;"&gt;sistema operacional da organização&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt;”,&lt;/span&gt; pois está na base dos processos e atividades da empresa. Os outros sistemas devem buscar a integração com a plataforma de ERP adotada&lt;/span&gt;, tal como acontece nos aplicativos desenvolvidos para Windows, Linux, ou outro sistema operacional.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; color: rgb(51, 51, 51);"&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:Verdana;font-size:100%;"  &gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; color: rgb(51, 51, 51);"&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:Verdana;font-size:100%;"  &gt;Quando falamos de ERP, a SAP é sem dúvida a empresa líder no segmento de grandes empresas [1]. Segundo dados de uma recente pesquisa realizada pelo Gartner Group, a SAP lidera o mercado mundial nos segmentos de ERP (27,5%), CRM e SCM. Ou seja, &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;barba, cabelo e bigode&lt;/span&gt;! O ERP pode ser considerado o principal sistema interno de uma empresa, enquanto que os sistemas de CRM (clientes) e SCM (fornecedores) suportam as principais relações com o ambiente externo. Por esse motivo, nessa postagem usarei a SAP como exemplo.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; color: rgb(51, 51, 51);"&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:Verdana;font-size:100%;"  &gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; color: rgb(51, 51, 51);"&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:Verdana;font-size:100%;"  &gt;Os investimentos das organizações com sistemas ERP de grande porte  geralmente ultrapassam dezenas ou centenas de milhões de dólares. Por isso são de longo prazo e de grande relevância para outras ações na gestão de TI. &lt;st1:personname productid="Em torno do ERP" st="on"&gt;Em torno do ERP&lt;/st1:personname&gt;, vários outros sistemas precisam se &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;“acoplar” &lt;/span&gt;e se &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;integrar&lt;/span&gt;. A capacidade de um sistema&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;em se comunicar adequadamente com o ERP passa a ser extremamente desejável, tornando-se uma condição necessária integrar o portfólio de aplicações.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; color: rgb(51, 51, 51);"&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:Verdana;font-size:100%;"  &gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; color: rgb(51, 51, 51);"&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:Verdana;font-size:100%;"  &gt;Se isto é verdade para os sistemas internos da organização, também é uma realidade para os sistemas externos. Fornecedores e parceiros que efetuam transações com a organização principal também precisam se comunicar com o padrão do sistema SAP. Embora todos saibam que camadas de interface sejam facilmente desenhadas para acomodar diferentes aplicações, níveis mais complexos de integração são mais difíceis de serem obtidos desta forma. Integrações mais sofisticadas vão além da simples troca de dados entre aplicações, abrangendo regras de negócio interdependentes e arquiteturas de informações compartilhadas. Assim, quanto mais “&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: bold;"&gt;SAP&lt;/span&gt;&lt;i style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;ability&lt;/i&gt;” for a aplicação, maiores os benefícios que podem ser obtidos, tanto em termos de gestão de TI quanto de negócio.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; color: rgb(51, 51, 51);"&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:Verdana;font-size:100%;"  &gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; color: rgb(51, 51, 51);"&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:Verdana;font-size:100%;"  &gt;A “&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;SAP&lt;/span&gt;&lt;i style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;ability&lt;/i&gt;” &lt;span style=""&gt; &lt;/span&gt;é particularmente importante para empresas que estão sujeitas as influências de organizações mais fortes, dentro da cadeia produtiva. É normal que empresas com maior poder na cadeia imponham seus padrões para o restante dos parceiros. Desta forma, quanto mais preparada a empresa menor estiver para se integrar tecnologicamente, maiores são as chances de parceria, manutenção e expansão do relacionamento com organizações mais fortes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; color: rgb(51, 51, 51);"&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:Verdana;font-size:100%;"  &gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; color: rgb(51, 51, 51);"&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:Verdana;font-size:100%;"  &gt;A &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;adoção &lt;/span&gt;de certas tecnologias em &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;conformidade &lt;/span&gt;com organizações &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;mais fortes&lt;/span&gt; ao longo da cadeia não é algo novo, a exemplo dos sistemas de EDI [2]. Por isso os gestores de TI devem antecipar os movimentos da cadeia e alinhar-se com as exigências do ambiente externo. Também falou sobre a instalação do &lt;a href="http://www.sap.com/brazil/company/press/releases/press.epx?pressid=7658"&gt;Centro de Tecnologia Mundial da SAP no Brasi&lt;/a&gt;, em São Leopoldo, RS. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;&lt;img src="file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/ANDRES%7E1/CONFIG%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot.jpg" alt="" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:verdana;font-size:100%;"  &gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ao ser questionado sobre os motivos que levaram a escolha do Brasil, e mais especificamente o RS, como local para a instalação do centro, Rezelman apontou alguns pontos importantes:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1) A visão do Brasil como um pais em franco desenvolvimento e com relativa estabilidade economica, comparado aos demais vizinhos da América Latina.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2) O bom nível intelectual e a qualificação da mão-de-obra especializada também contribuiram para a escolha do país e da região. Rezelman destaca também o sentimento de motivação e paixao que os brasileiros expressam naquilo que fazem.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3) Por fim, a grande base de clientes na região e o custo competitivo de instalações e principalmente mão-de-obra, foram fatores determinantes na escolha.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;O Centro irá desenvolver soluções para o segmento SME (Pequenas e Médias Empresas) para os mercados da América Latina, Estados Unidos e Europa. Uma vez que o mercado de grandes empresas já está relativamente esgotado, a busca por novos clientes no segmento SME é uma direção óbvia. A SAP "espera &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;ter metade de sua base de clientes no segmento de pequenas e médias empresas até 2010" (&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a style="font-family: verdana;" href="http://www.sap.com/brazil/company/press/noticias/2008/maio/000003.epx"&gt;link&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:verdana;font-size:100%;"  &gt;&lt;br /&gt;Com o foco na integração entre clientes, fornecedores e parcerios de negócios, a SAP aposta na sua base consolidade de grandes clientes para fomentar a adoção no segmento SME. Com o foco em SOA e aplicações Web, parece que a estratégia é permitir a integração das grandes empresas com seus parceiros dentro de uma plataforma única. Esta característica deu origem a teoria da "&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Cauda_Longa"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;cauda longa&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;font-size:100%;"&gt;" (long tail) aplicada ao comércio na web, de autoria de Chris Anderson.
